Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Slopframe (www.slopframe.com) is a shared world-map canvas where signed-in users upload images to countries and chat. When you choose "Sign in with Google", we receive the following from Google's OAuth service (basic profile scopes only):

• Google account data: your name, email address and profile picture, plus a unique account identifier. We request no other Google data (no Drive, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, etc.).
• Profile we store: the nickname you choose and the country flag we derive from your network's IP address (via a header from our hosting/CDN provider). We do not store your IP address.
• Content you submit: images you upload to the canvas and chat messages, which are visible to other users.
• Usage data: basic technical data (such as presence/online status) needed to run real-time features.

2. How we use it

Data from your Google account is used only to create your account, sign you in and identify you within Slopframe. Your email is never shown publicly. Publicly visible are only the nickname, country flag, and content you choose to post. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling or training AI models, and our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We also use data to operate the service and enforce our Terms (removing content and banning abusive accounts).

3. Third-party sharing

We do not sell, rent or disclose your personal data or Google user data to third parties. We only use infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf to run the service: Supabase (authentication, database, real-time), Cloudflare (hosting/CDN, image storage and bot protection). They may not use your data for their own purposes. We may disclose data only if required by law.

4. User-uploaded content

Images placed on the canvas and messages sent in chat are public by design — they are visible to anyone using the site. Do not upload or share anything you don't want to be public. See our Terms of Service for what content is not allowed.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to operate the site and enforce our Terms. Content removed by moderation, or accounts that are banned, may still have data retained for a period for abuse prevention and legal compliance. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data (Google profile information, nickname, uploaded images and messages) at any time by emailing [email protected] from the email address of your account; we will process the request within 30 days. You may also revoke Slopframe's access at any time in your Google Account permissions.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site securely. We do not use cookies for advertising.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Slopframe after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
